I continue to get calls from this number.  It rings three times and the
answering machine gets it and there is dead air space.  No message!

I looked up WFNNB, which is what was listed above the number on my caller id. (I thought it was a radio station) Apparently it is a large bank. They seem to deal mainly with credit cards and store credit cards. Gee I hope I’m not in trouble, it is the post-Christmas season. They would have left a message if I owed them money, wouldn’t they?

These People Call At Least 9 Times A Day A Leave No Message On The Phone

This is a collection call for either Goodys or Peebles Dept store credit card.  I was late on my payment this month and when I called this # back it states these two companys and another company.  The problem is I paid my bill yesterday morning and I am still recving these calls this morning.  This is crazy.  They start at 8 something in the morning and dont stop calling until 8:50 at night.  They also call using # 972-805-9653

I keep getting phone called from the same 2 numbers 614-729-6037 and 972-805-9653. I do not own a credit card from Goodys or Pebbles. We dont even have those store in FL. I have no outstanding bills, this is getting very annoying anyone have any suggestions?

they call and do not leave a mssg.  I do not have any back bills so I do not know who they are or why they call.

This number calls my work number at least 4-8 times a day.
Never leaves a message.
I do not use credit cards so that can't be the issue.
I recognize the number and just let it ring.

It is from WFNNB!  They never leave a message!  I dont even have a credit card through this company.  I am on the do not call list also!

Do you maybe have a Lane Bryant or Avenue Card?

Sunday 6PM. Lady asked for me but would not tell me who she was or what company she represented. Just said it was a "personal matter"? I have excellent credit, absolutely no late payments in 10 years! When I refused to acknowledge who I was, she said she would just have to call back later. Go figure. My wife says the  number shows up on our caller ID box frequently.

We are on the Do Not Call LIST!!

Saw the number, didn't recognize it, held my breath and answered it.  I didn't say anything, and no one said anything to me so after a few seconds I hung up.  Not sure if it's related but yesterday I got a phone call from a different number asking if my name was so-and-so and to confirm it by not hanging up after 3 seconds.  I stayed on the line and a recording told me that I (rather, the person they were looking for) had confirmed my identity and that I have some serious debt problems and I need to call someone for a "business deal".  I may have sealed my fate with annoying phone calls by "confirming" my ID.

Bah, they just called again.  I won't answer next time.

They just called a third time.  Hit 'reject' on me phone.

Its the collector for bank of america credit cards. Guess my payment was late again... thanks recession for helping my company deny any raises this year and the economy for making everything more expensive

They call me too, and there's no co. name and no message.  I don't ever call NO NAME back after no message!  I've been getting calls from them for 2 mos.  TUFF STUFF!

They call and they want tell you where they are calling from. i looked it up and it from WFCB - BLAIR.They are nothing but a pain in the ass. They call right back in about a minute. They call anywhere from 10 times a day starting at 8:00 A.M thru the evening hours. There should be a law that protect the consumers from these predators.
These predators are calling from Columbus, Ohio or SAN ANTONIO TX.
