Got a call at 8:45 am from this number and they just hang up.  It's not the first time and I'm getting tired of it.

Keep getting calls from this number. They ask for my husband when I'm not home, even though I've never been married.

This is World Financial Bank. They hold the accounds of Victorias secret, bath and bady, maurices, lane bryant and a slew of others. Not a scam, you missed a payment.

It's WFNNB (World Financial Network National Bank). They service the credit cards for the Limited Group of retail stores, which includes Victoria's Secret.

If they are calling, there may be something to resolve on your account. If you think there is a problem, I would recommend NOT answering but writing a letter to WFNNB at PO Box 182782, Columbus, OH 432782-2782 or the address on the back of your credit card statement. It can be difficult dealing with the people at the other end of the line. (They seem to begin by assuming that you are not trustworthy and are trying to avoid paying your bills.)

Same company called from 3 different numbers starting at 8:15 on Sunday morning.  I usually don't answer unknown numbers so I googled all three and saw where they came from World Financial, and I do have a VS Angel Card that was past due.  BUT I already paid the card a few days before the calls starting flowing in.  

Got a call from 614-729-6811 this morning (Monday) so I answered it and told the guy the payment was already made and then he tried to get me to verify my address and information which I refused and he hung up.

I keep getting  calls on my cell phone from this number and 614-729-6078.  I keep rejecting them but they keep calling.  How can I get them to stop?

This number keeps calling my office phone on a daily basis around 10AM and they call twice within a 5-minute period. Regardless if I've answered the first call or not. The beauty of the whole thing I've never had a store credit card so the calls shouldn't be coming in.

If you have asked the company to stop calling in writing, then you may be able to sue them under the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).  This is the same statute that is used to sue junk fax companies.  The statutory damage award is $500 for each call and $1,500 per call if they have violated the statute wilfully.  

You should also get copies of any phone bills that show the dates and times of the incoming calls.  If your phone bill doesn’t show this information, then you should use a call log to keep a record of the dates and times.  I have posted a sample log on my web site that you can download and fill out.  http://www.sue4abuse.com/files/Download/Collection_Log.pdf

I get at least 6 calls a day.  I refuse to answer and when I call back it is WFNB .  I do not have any active accounts open with them anymore and would love to know how to stop these calls.

I had been trying to access my Victoria's Secret account and got blocked out.  5 minutes later I got a call from this number.  She asked to speak to me and then disconnected.  WTF?

I get 2-3 calls a day from them. I do have a Victoria's Secret card that is in good standing. I make my payments on time and the card is not even maxed. (They also just gave me a credit limit increase.) I never answer because everyone I know, knows not to call me at 8am. They never leave a message either. Is there a website to contact them and ask to stop the calls? I'll check the VS website I guess.
