typically they handle credit cards for express (victorias secret, etc.)

Either you are past due or you are being sent to collections.

They call me from 8 in the morning, until 9 at night. It's for my daughter, and when I say she no longer lives here they say they'll keep calling and hang up. I've tried to call the number back, but it's not in service! Very frustrated.

THey have called me more than 25 times in the last few days, half the time hanging up when I answer.  It is World Financial Bank.  After having their Abercrombie, Limited, Victorias Secret, and Express cards for several years, I was a few days late on one payment because I did not receive a statement.  I took care of the late payment, then received 3 more call from them.  The last lady yelled at me and treated me like a criminal.  I paid off and cancelled all four cards with them.  They can [***] themselves.

Called cell and home phones, but did not leave message.

they called me 15 times in a week once! each time they ask for esther and when i tell them that they have the wrong number, they think I am esther and threaten me with extra taxes.

got the call, after the post on craiglist. i think this is scam. Be careful!

Several calls throughout the day for last few weeks.  When I answer, they hang up.  When machine answers, they hang up.  I am not late on cards and do not have Abercrombie,Vics Secret, etc...so beyond confused and annoyed at this point.

Verified that this is World Financial: Company has called and a multitude of times, sometimes with hangups after I answer, finally answering after I called the lady called me a thief and a lier for not paying my bill. -- I am in the process of canceling all accounts with his company.

World Financial Network National Bank, handles deliquent credit card accounts.  I had just changed my phone number two days earlier due to calls coming from a person telling me my warranty expired.  My car is over ten years old! LOL.  I called this number back and they asked for my social security number right up front! makes me question if this company is scamming people.  No legitimate business is going to ask for your social security number over the phone.  I told the lady I spoke to, no way! She said, "well I don't see your phone number in our system indicating you have an account." Then I said, "well how the hell did you get my phone number then?"  Put me on your do not call list!

Enough with the bogus phone numbers.  They keep creeping up on my cell with no messages...enough is enough!!!

Do not take the call ever. If you have a registered credit card with a company, then your name becomes one on their list and they will try to scam you into saying that your credit card is overdue and if you give them your credit card number, they will "take care of it for you" Its just a scam place that wants your credit card number. It happened to my cousin; not with that number, but it was a company like that. She had to cancel her card. Don't fall for the trap. If you are honestly overdue on a credit card, an actual collection agency will leave a message or it will leave a message with someone else who answers; they will not just hang up the phone.

World Financial - don't know, they never identify themselves and there is no one there when I pick up.  Annoying as they call repeatedly, first from one number, then another, and the last is Private.

I have been getting calls for a couple weeks now. I have no past due accoounts, they leave no messages.
