I was involved in a car accident 2 weeks ago.  This week I have received EIGHT phone calls from various different numbers.  Only three have left messages all of them say to please call regarding the car accident I was involved in.  I assume the other 5 were for the same thing but didn't leave a message.  Assuming they either want me to sue or "help" with medical treatment.  Ridiculous vultures!!

I was involved in car accident and started working with my insurance but unsolicited call and voice mail from number 615 647 6102 was referring to the car accident and had a request for me to call them back ;I have no idea who  those people are. Also I received another text message from an unknown numbe r615 617 4180 from personal injury consultant requesting me to call her regarding my accident. I'm puzzled how all the people quickly found out about the car accidents and who's selling them this information.

I received a call this morning from this number. The lady calling had all of the information from a car accident that happened 2 days ago. She was asking me if I was hurt or felt any pain or discomfort from the accident. I asked her how she got my PERSONAL info. She just restated that she was from Accident Referral Service in Nashville. She was very pleasant. I did not give her any real information regarding the accident. I called Metro Police and asked how my information got into her hands. They said, "unfortunately, any information from a reported accident is available to the public."  You can call her back, but will get a voice message. I'm pretty sure this is one of those agencies that "troll" public records every day looking for accident victims that may need an injury/accident lawyer. I wouldn't say its harmful, but still would not give any significant info until you meet with the actual lawyer.

It is harmful because it is both a scam and insurance fraud.  If they are referring you to an attorney, it might also be against ABA rules.

I was involved with a fender bender a few nights ago, same thing. I asked them who authorized them to call me, and they said TN department of Safety. Left a message on TNDoS FB and they said they don't give out that info.

Fyi, the insurance company I'm claiming from is LM, ie, Liberty Mutual.

I too was involved in an accident on Monday and received a voicemail from someone named Beverly on Wednesday.  Have no plans to call them back as they did not leave a company name, which means it is not anyone that needs to know anything involving this accident.

Number won’t quit calling my 14 year old daughter saying that I as her mother needed to call back regarding an accident I was involved in. I haven’t even been in a car accident

Make a police report since a minor is involved and then download a call blocking app.  The free ones work great.
