Told me there was a case no. associated with my phone number regarding my daughter (gave her name)  I asked where they were calling from and about what.  They said calling from Capital Solutions to let her know there had been civil charges filed against her.  Told caller I would pass message along and was given this number to call.  Contacted my daughter and she told me this was a scam  I have no caller ID or anything to identify callers to me.

Yup, and that is a phony debt collector, a crook. Since you interacted with them, you can expect more calls.  You might want to look at getting a caller ID unit - I assume these are still made and they should be dirt cheap.  Buy a used one maybe.  Caller ID is a very good first line of defense.  I see perfectly good used phones at yard sales for about $2 that would fit the bill.

They could not give me any information they had barely anything treating to suspend my drivers license and come after my wages refused to send proof of debt

...all of which is ILLEGAL.  They have FIVE days to MAIL (no other way) proof of this supposed debt.  Demand that & block them & report at www.consumerfinance.gov .

I received a call from this number threading me and they had an address from 10 years ago. Said they would suspend my DL. Is this a scam they couldn’t tell me who the debt from from

They called an left a message that they had a case on my social security to call them back

Called on 1/3 and left a VM saying they were calling from Capital Solutions and Associates saying they need to speak with me regarding a matter attached to my SS #. They didn't even mention the name of who they are calling for. I know I don't owe anything and even if I did, legit collection agencies don't operate this way. Looked them up on BBB and they have an"F" rating with a dozen complaints file, no surprise. Block their number...

i got a call from them about less then a week ago. capital sollutions said i had a debt from cashnet usa. now me being smart i called cashnet usa to find out what the debt was. only 136.26. capital sollutions said i had to pay 750.00. now those 2 dont add up. so i asked capital sollutions if there a debt collector and they said no which i was ausuming they were for cashnet usa. so stupid me i signed the form one form and they never took any money from me yet. is this a true scam and how do i tell them stop calling me

Well there is nothing "valid" about this call. Yes, you were scammed, yes you made a huge mistake signing anything without make validate the debt, and yes you have problems if you gave them your banking information. First call the bank. Don't wait. Then take the time to read and learn all about debt collection at the FTC, CFPB, and your State Attorney General's websites.

Received a voicemail a few mins ago saying to call in reference something starched to my social security number. Left a diff number to call back. Glad I checked here first..I won’t be calling them back. Also first flag for me was they didn’t say who the call was for. Now I have in the past received calls from a debt collector and they always leave a message saying “this call is for “me”

Called me.  Claimed there is a civil case filed against my son and demanded my ssn, birth date, and home address.  Told them I don't have kids.  Guy got pissed off and started screaming profanity at me and hung up.
