This is one of those calls where the panel reads a city name.  If you pick up and put it on mute, and make no noise whatsoever, you can get it to hang up in about 10 seconds.  My guess is if I were ever to make a noise, a scam recording of some sort would begin playing.  I always pick up and mute callers that purport to be a city/state calling.  These are almost 100% of the time, scam calls.  If I answer and a live person is on the line, I can usually tell because it's someone breathing, or they're going Hello, Hello?  But in this case, with this number, it's just dead air so it's always just a computer listening for sound.

these scammers just called our business line. we didn't pick up and checked the feedback with Google. I guess I was right, we blocked them. And so should you.
