Say this the department of fraud

i recieved a call from this number stating they are a prosecuting attorney office but they are a fraud i back tracked everything and found out they are a scam plz be wary

Received a call from this number and it appears to be a scam.  I called the FBI and reported this number and was told the call I recieved was a scam.  Be very wary of calls from this number.

This guy "Mr Davidson" just called & said my wife owed $507 from some BS thing in 2006.  how he got her cell # we have no idea.  Said he was from the "Department of Investigation"..  Wouldnt give me his company's Federal ID # or physical address. Just said he was from Nashville.  He also gave me an official "Looking" website of www.fraudoffice.com to go to.  (non working Phone#)  Shocker..  

He threatened prosecution on 2 felony charges would happen TOMORROW if she didnt give him a credit card # for $1500.    She said NO..  He then pressured her to contact a family member to get their cc#.    

I told him to fax me any and all paperwork regarding the transaction from 2006 and he said that he had none.    He just kept pushing for a cc# or she would be "prosecuted" tomorrow.

We called the FBI and gave them the # and alleged name. Definitely a scam.  His number has been reported with them as well as the "Federal Trade Commission"

Now this dingbat somehow used a program or app to call showing the call came from our local county sheriff's office.  It was girl on the phone this time.  Very threatening asking again for a credit card#..  Said she was coming to serve an arrest warrant if we didnt pay up immediately.      So I call my local sheriffs dept and of course there's nobody there by that name she gave.    The sheriffs dept told us to call our local police dept and file a report.   We did.     Probably nothing will happen though Im sure.
