Didn't answer.  Left no message on ans. machine. I no longer answer unfamiliar numbers and unknown/suspecious caller ID's.

I am getting calls labeled NATL PAIN CNTR. As of right now I received calls from this place with 9 different numbers. This number one of them.

Received numerous calls from this number that showed up as National Pain Cntr on caller ID.  We typically do not answer calls that show up on caller ID as "unavailable", "private number" or "unknown" or ones that we don't know.  Since this was area code 615 (Tennessee) and we live in this state after many calls I answered it.  From the background noise you could tell it was a telemarketing call center.  The caller had our last name and asked for Mr. *********, so I asked why she was calling this number.  She attempted to keep going with the pitch but when I informed her She was in violation of the Federal Trade Commission's do not call law she immediately hung up.

Shows on caller ID as National Pain Cntr.  They had called almost weekly for the past 2 months and while we typically ignore unknown, unavailable, private and unrecognized numbers I finally answered.  From background notice it sounded like a telemarketing center.  The lady calling had our last name and asked for Mr. ******.  I didn't acknowledge my identity but asked why she was calling this number but she kept going with "the pitch" so after asking 3 times I interrupted her and told her she was in violation of the Federal Trade Commission rules for "do not call" laws.  She immediately hung up.
