9:30 am call. TN special Olympics. Wants to know my name. I say who is this and why are you calling. Wants money. Girl reads her computer screen about all they do for too long, Asks for a few hundred dollars. I say NO. She reads some more and asks for less than a hundred dollars. I say NO. Then she asks for anything, I say NO again, and she hangs up.
I have a whole list of charities I have checked out and send money to every month.
I don't know who these people are. Maybe hired by Special Olympics to raise money and they keep half, who knows. But I'm not going to donate to somebody that calls out of nowhere, and I'm not going to spend time researching them.

8:30 call. Man called me by first name and said he was from a charity for the blind. I hung up.
