female  called 10/22/10  after knowing my name stated she is confirming my order i stated i had not o , rdered  anything - she hung up on me. i recieved  another call from another female stating she wanted to confirm my address  regarding my charge card ending in xxxx i stated i did not order anything nor  did i have an account ending in xxxx  i called the phone number 1-616-613-2052 wasnt an option to speak w
ith any person my phone  is listed on the do not call list. on 10/23/10 i recieved another call from a man  stating he was calling in reference to my transaction  with account number ending yyyy he wants to confirm my address i stated im very tired of getting these calls and would be reporting these come monday- he slmmed the phone down or threw it . i thought the account number sounded familiar upon  checking it was my bank visa card i called my bank and spoke with a rep she stated it sounded like a phishing scam she put an alert on my account and suggested i call the bbb and wa state attorney general come monday  i will , the only thing i have is  what it states on my caller id -eorderconfirm.

Calls REPEATEDLY on my cell phone - I do not answer those I do not recognize.  No message.  Sent a text asking them to remove my number from their list.  Calls stopped - but today a new number calling repeatedly has started :/

Have gotten calls on my CELL phone from these jerks.  I never use my cell number for anything as I have a special number at home I use for all sales/orders, then if it rings, I know it's a sales call.  But they called me about every 90 minutes for several days.  Used call block on my cell.  Today (two days after blocking) got a call from another mysterious number...turns out to be the same company!  269-768-2621.  And I have all my numbers on the Federal Do Not Call list, so no idea how they get them.  At this point, I wonder if the DNC list even works.  Will post this on that other number too.

I got many hang up calls from VISTA marketing company, and when I answered some giggling girls started the speel then hung up. They called again and I finally spoke with them but I was horrified that they had my name, address, unlisted cell phone number (which is also on a registered do not call list) and worst of all the last 4 digits of my credit card.
They wanted to give me $100's of dollars worth of gas cards if I would allow them to bill my credit card $2.95
When I asked them how they got my private info and credit card number they stated I had purchased something in the last year with my mastercard and that the company I had purchased from gave them the info. I asked to speak with a manager but because I had too many questions he told me he was going to hang up on my as I wouldn't stop arguing with his excuses.
I found their website and the link and called the number listed there (as I could never speak to a human at the number they called from). They explained to me that it's legal for them to harrass me as I must have listed my private cell phone number on the website of whatever I purchased and that they did not have my full credit card info but if I agreed on a taped line they would give it to the person I originally purchased from and they would bill me. I found that strange as they couldn't tell me who I purchased from or what I purchased on the earlier call. I told them I would report them to every agency and TV station I knew off and I am doing so now.

Received call from 616-613-2046. Did not recognize the number and did not answer it.No doubt another scam artist.

I'm not interested in "lower interest" which appears on my Caller ID. I want the calls to stop immediately. The only option available during the prerecorded phone call was to press "1" to receive what was offered.

Doe the "prez's sequestering have any negative effect on the DNC program?

The answer I have found is to drop my standard land-line home phone for Ooma (Voip through my Internet service).  It is cheaper (around $12/month instead of $40 a month) and it allows you to very easily block any number that you don't want to ring through to your phone.  Only negative is that my fax machine doesn't work with Ooma, though I believe there are some newer models that will.  Either way, worth it to me to be able to block calls from known pests.

Hi everone I get all kinds of calls not only from this number listed but other numbers all day long. I did some investagating and all you have to do is go to the local walmart or other retail store and pick your self up a panasonic corless phone. It will say right on the box it will BLOCK CALLS and it does. Also when the caller ID comes up unavailble out of area it will block them also it is the only phone that I know of that will do all this. It all works for me good luck
