Don't know what the government is involved in that you don't like - you should probably get that cleared up with Fox News, but there IS the DO NOT CALL list, a FREE service provided to you by your Federal Government.

this phone number is a collection agency they never leave a message because if you owe any monies usually it is from a payday loan company if you ever applied for monies in desperate time but they won't work with you this gives them the opportunity to bring you to court and therefore they will keep on calling you over and over again I am trying to get their address so I can owe them the money that is due

harassing. does not leave any information. if you dont leave your name and you leave breathing on someone's voicemail you just look like a stalker!

They are boiler room stalkers who try to steal people's credit card numbers, ss numbers, bank account numbers, etc.

got a call today. asked if I was still considering going to college. Told her I already went to college...and she hung up.....

This was some India-accent male from some staffing or recruiting firm (couldn't understand due to the heavy accent and he talks way to fast) about some job position somewhere.  Good thing I already have a job if this is what companies are using to recruit.

This is a scam number. They try and sell campers, etc for extremely undervalued price. Tell you that you will get an eBay invoice and will need to pay for the item by PayPal My Cash. They want you to send pin number of the card, will take funds and you will never see the item or money. Oh, you get the protection privilege of 5 days before the money is dispersed to a seller (them) so to speak. They are using real names of people in a particular areas. Emails go to a googlemail.com account saying it is an eBay email account. They also send fictious eBay invoices. They advertise all over the U.S. My guess very close to the Nigerian scams when you are selling something only in reverse.
