"You can save 60% on your electricity bill…"  It's a scam.

Started as a robocall from 617-483-6653 (listed as a Quincy number), and winds up as a pitch for the Clean Planet Project. Something to do with installing solar panels, etc.

Also, I've read that they are affiliated with NRG Home Solar.

That's a nice theory but my phone is not associated with any of these things. However, if you've ever signed up for anything like a contest or hotel I'm sure your info is sold

got a call at 8:50 tonight. When will these calls stop. I'll report them as if it does any good.

Got a call from this number today.  Thanks to the "Do Not Call List" not doing a thing to stop constant calls from marketers, I no longer answer any number that I don't recognize.  Caller did not leave a voice mail. Blocked the number.

got a call at 1:19 PM. No v/m. Thanks to everyone for updating this site. I will block the number now.

OK so it's a cold call from a telemarketer- that's illegal.
#2, they don't state their name - that's illegal.
#3 they have an option to "be removed from their list" but as with spam emails, I avoid that route, because no doubt they'll sell on my "now live" number to another telemarketer.

Get thee to the FCC complaints website.

Possibly debt collector for local utility

Called my cell phone. I did not answer, caller did not leave a message.

They are on the radio, television, in my mail, and now on the phone calling.  All pushing energy savings.  Big adds for NRG but they have a very poor track record with a lot of unhappy customers.
Solar panels are okay but not the big savings they tout.   It's about the service and none of these
people can or will service their equipment.  How does one fix a bad or broken solar panel???

annoying robo calls

Just attempted to call my cell, which I have a new caller ID app I'm using that helps.  Says: CUSTOMER SERVIC according to the app, so suspect it's a sales call as described in other reports.  Didn't pick up and will probably flag as a Blocked caller (Love my smartphone!)

Called just before 9 pm, left a recorded message concerning electric rates.  Just another energy scam. Caller ID said Quincy MA.

Caller ID just read "Quincy MA" - message was some kind of scam re: electricity costs.

Called my cell phone.  Did not answer.  No message left

Some [***] robocall about American reinvestment act to lower your electric bill. Just blocked them.

Just received a call from this telephone number.  I monitored the call while my telephone system's auto attendant was doing it's thing. Recorded message about electricity bills.
