No vm, message. No verifiable ID. It's a scam. This isn't hard.

A call from this Brookline, MA VOIP number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.  This is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls in a desperate search for victims.

Many posters have unmasked this robocaller as a low-life, ambulance-chasing lawyer seeking clients for a class-action lawsuit against a drug company.  A legitimate law firm would use newspaper, magazine or TV advertising for this purpose.

Ambrose Bierce, in The Devil's Dictionary (1887) defined lawyer as "Once skilled in circumventing the law."  In this instance, the lawyer is blatantly violating the Do Not Call law in his desperate search for clients to support the class-action lawsuit.  Unlawful and unethical behavior such as this should qualify for summary disbarment.

According to www.whitepages.com this number is described as "Scam or fraud."  I'm sooooo surprised!!!

Calla several times a week.  I do not answer and they do not leave message.
