This is an outgoing telephone line for all county agencies! This is not a scam. I did not answer the first time they called and googled the number and read the reviews! While doing so they called again so I decided to answer and it asked me to verify if I was who they said by pressing 1 once I did they played an automated msg remind me that my renewal for cash aid was due at the end of this month and that I would get them canceled if I did not attend witch I already knew. They also gave me the county's main access number to call back if I had questions or needed to reschedule! I did call the county's resource center and ask about the number and they told me that it is the county's number and all the agencies are linked and placed through an outgoing automated system! So it could be health and huma services, child support, etc!

The person who called from this number was my food stamp assistance contact (from SD County Dept. of Health and Human Services).  He was returning my phone call.

Reading the post it all says it has to do with child support I've never had children

Got a call twice today- saw caller ID on cell,  no message left - I called back it said not a working number.  I called the county of San Diego they said its a bogus call and they were bombarded today with people calling asking if it was a legit call!!!  DONT ANSWER it if you see the number and put it on your DO NOT CALL -list!

This the EBT renewal number, and it Can't be called back.. So if you recently applied for Cal-fresh assistance, then you will want to answer this number!!! ....
So be sure and label the number and be ready to pick up if you that EBT card to keep working!!

My food stamp rep is Tom. I just recently reapplied for food stamps. After reading your post, I had better answer next time he calls. OOps. I think that he should leave a message so people don't think it is a scam.

Who are u to tell someone else to get over something you know NOTHING about. You dnt know the circumstances, details or ANY specific info. Abt her situation & YOU DNT KNOW ANYONE INVOLVED so YOU are the one who is passing judgement merely based on a paragraph written by a stranger ABOUT THEIR L8FE EXPERIENCES NOT YOURS that is vague & facts are unspecified SO YOU IMMEDIATELY JUMP TO JUDGEMENT and called her a "psycho" U DNT EVEN KNOW HER! HOW IGNORANT & IMMATURE! You don't know her children or the pain they have suffered from not having their dad around & u dnt know how difficult it was for her to b a single mom & raise her kids w out any help from NY one so before u go jumping to conclusions and verbally assaulting someone u dnt knw online from a simple statement they made abt their own life why dnt u sit, think & process what you are saying and what a fool it makes u look like ...and by the way r u a certified/ licensed mental health worker, clinician, or work in the psychological field (pschologist/ or psychiatrist) ? I dialed the phone number and a recording comes on which says "this is a non-working number" and then hangs up.

Received a call recently but the disconnected when I picked up. When I phoned back male voice recording stated its a non working number.

It's the city of San Diego heath services calling...most likely to reappoint your interview for food stamp renewal or child support type stuff

I guess you are right. Its from food stamps dept, either we just applied or almost terminated (and need renewal and/or interview). They called me 6 times in a day without left any msgs. Two more days, I will get phone interview. Thanks for you guys

My son is 32 and they called today. I don't think its child support.

Update: This may be one of many SD County outgoing call numbers that calls from county staff from any department is automatically routed thru. This phone number will not work for incoming calls.

This is not a spam. This is actually child support, and the country trying to get a hold of a person involved in a case. I had to switch my child support case from TN to CA and they called me. Sure enough they had all the info that i had reported and verified information. Needless to say because i answered that phone call I now get my child support from the state of california!!
