Claimed to be from Medi-care and wants information that is no longer on the new cards that the REAL medi-care is currently sending out, but they sound legitimate and my sister in law apparently sounded rude when asking "too many questions" and the caller-scammer, got mad at her and hung up on her. THEN called my sister in law BACK and said, "Because you were SO rude to me, I just cancelled your Medicare!" and hung up on her again. My sister in law called Medicare, fearing that she had been cancelled and they said NO one called and no one would have done that. So, she also called the FTC and reported this to them, but I had her give me the phone number and info to share with the public so no one gets ripped off. Just can't trust hardly anyone these days.
