I've gotten still another call from the same or an affiliated boiler room offering to "lower (my) credit card rates," because I supposedly "have a record of making on time payments."  

It's complete scam, of course. I'm on the no-call list and our state Attorney General refuses to do anything about these scams despite the fact that they're illegal.

I don't need to have my credit card rates lowered because I have never paid any interest on my credit cards.  But I pity the poor person who is strapped with some usurious rate who is conned into buying into something even worse, and maybe having their identity sold to Ukranian identity thieves or some similar fate.
