Called my office phone and did not leave a message.

I've gotten a call from this number every other day, 3 calls now; different times.

Calling it back gets me a message that they're a 3-rd party verification company that verifies for free trade magazines.  Since I take a few of those, I'll answer next time, I guess.

In fact, it's someone calling to verify subscriptions to Electronic Design magazine; I took the call today, and the rep was quite professional.

So if you take trade mags -- especially that one -- you should probably answer.  ;-)

3 calls today on my cell phone. No ID, no Answer, no MSG

They called me three times and didn't leave a message.  I'm an electronic engineer so it makes sense that it would be ED magazine calling.  That's a relief.  Thanks to those above who posted.

BTW, I really like this site.

If it's for EDN them I'm OK. I was about to have someone in the 623 area code murdered, I will now reconsider. Thanks for the posts.

Got this call at 9:16am Thursday morning. They did not leave a message

These folks called my personal cell phone, my boss's cell, and the office line, all almost simultaneously.  When I told them I was not updating their list with them (they had old contractors names) they gave me a REAL bad time.  The one on the office phone kept calling back repeatedly (3 times!) and just kept talking on the last try so I did the same and then pressed the 9 key for a couple seconds and hung up.  They haven't called back, but I have them blocked now.  They were unprofessional and true jerks, all three of them - and I'm a patient person.

Called me at 5/5/2010 8:38am PST. Didn't leave me a msg, but keeps calling. makes me so mad! if I find him, I'm gonna kill him. >:)

called me on cell phone...ive asked the electronic magazine idiots to NOT do that.  dont care who it is.  cancellign subs to all of them because of things like this

If anyone calls without displaying their caller ID, THEY ARE ALWAYS up to no-good!  Simply NEVER answer these calls.  It's always fraud in my experience. These scumbags called me today, and I am adding them to my reject list.
