who is this?

Do not know who this is.

I've received several calls from this number...never answered, and they've never left a message. This last time I screened the call and dialed back immediately and finally got someone; this was a call from Illinois Energy; a window and door company. They did some work for us a few years back and were calling to see if we needed any more work done. Technically, I guess I could label this as a telemarketer, but we do have some history with them...for what it's worth.

Definitely Illinois Energy. They recycle old phone numbers to their constantly revolving door of new grad sales staff to let them think they have "leads".  Made the mistake of showing interest at a local festival two years ago and I have received five calls a week since. Bought our windows from a different company just because of the call volume.

I agree that is who this; Illinois Energy.  I also had expressed polite interest in a door-to-door college student's pitch (I actually was thinking of getting a quote for some repairs that I ended up doing myself without seeking the quote).

It could be that the company going door-to-door was just a consultancy that used products sold by Illinois Energy or in partnership -- I don't recall if it was IE that the young man was actually representing in person.  However... i gave my home phone knowing how telemarketing works, and I get calls several times a week.

its like once these marketers get a number, they bite down hard and won't let go without surgical intervention of a decapitary nature.
