9.7.18 @ 11:32 AM-- "Elburn IL" (630-394-1708)-- Call was picked up by answering machine, but apparently the female caller didn't realize that a live person did not answer!  So she started speaking, 'claiming' that she was calling in regard to my question about receiving disability benefits from the Social Security Administration (SSI, specifically).  (*Note: I have NEVER contacted anyone for that reason!).  The next thing she said was, "Can you hear me OK?", so this is obviously one of those "Say Yes" SCAMS that have been shown on TV news programs recently.  (The caller attempts to get the person who answers the phone to say "yes", and then that obligates them to have to pay for something, or some service, that they did NOT seek or request).  NEVER answer these types of calls, especially when they show up on the Caller ID as only the name of a town and state.  IF this had been a LEGITIMATE call from the Social Security Administration, then that is what would appear on the Caller ID, and NOT "Elburn IL"!
