got a call from this number on 10/7/13 at 4:30.. when answering machine picked up they hung up. nothing on caller id except number. no msg

Got a call just now, Chicago area. Just said Illinois Call.  These people have called me over 45 times THIS WEEK, using 7 different numbers I have found listed on sites like this.  They start at 7:30 and I have got calls as late as 10:30pm.  Immediately after this number called, I got a call from Illinois call 800-000-0001.  They hung up after 3 rings.

Really, the calls I get are much much worse than they were BEFORE the DNC list was put into effect, the spoofing of numbers or names is worse...who is enforcing this ????

Like others have already said, this is a number that calls SEVERAL TIMES ( exponentially ) a day and one that I don't recognize, so I let it go to voice mail. Could be 3 rings, 4, or even 5, and then a disconnect as THEY never leave a message.
Sorry but I do not answer unknown numbers, and IF they want to talk to me about something, they need to WAIT for the tell-tale beep at the end. If this IS a collector---> my best bet, or telemarketer, they have no idea of the laws / regulations, as they call before 6am, and call as late as 10:45pm.

Constant calls from this number trying to collect money from a Crystal Savage.  Keep telling them they have wrong number but they don't listen.  Really getting ridiculous.  This type of harassment needs to stop.  If you are trying to collect money get your facts straight before harassing others.

Tell them the next time they call they are in violation of TCPA and FDCPA laws by intentionally harassing a non-debtor and you intend to take legal action if the calls do not stop.
