Received call, rang twice and no message. From unknown name.

SCAM ROBO Caller.  Wanted to fix my credit debt. I have no Credit cards.  Hmmmmmm.

Rang 3 times then hung up.  Caller Id was AURORA IL.

It occurred to me, why in the last year or two they are only ringing 1 - 3 times. They have figured out that if no one answers by 3 rings the probability of getting voice mail or an answering machine sky rockets. Since there is no value to them of leaving a message they hang up. Plus they don't have to pay for the call. Keep in mind that the ring signal is generated by the local switch and no synchronization occurs. Also some call blockers swallow the first ring (can you say serial connected CPR).

Medicare scam.

Rang three times and disconnected before triggering the voice mail system. The caller identification device only showed the call was from an "ILLINOIS CALLER". I do not answer any calls from phone numbers not known to me.

Caller ID showed: ILLINOIS CALL   ...  Took a chance and answered because of contacts in the area code (not recommended)  _ call ended just as I picked up. Spammer likely... Thanks to all.

I just always leave my answering machine on. Of course, caller hung up when my outgoing message started.

This has really gotten worse now!  I never answer phone, let machine do that.  Voice said "Will connect you with next agent."  Immediatly male voice says "Is this (my actual first and last name)?"  Two "hellos" then hang up.  Caller ID said UNAVAILABLE.  If they are now using my real name . . . .

calls and leaves no message but looked up this number which had unknown caller in cid and it comes up Adriana Milan Aurora, Ill, ins agent from State Farm using a voip - labeled a scam or fraud as this number isn't identified as a State Farm Ins. number.

Like I'm going to pick up an unknown number.  BLOCKED! HA!

Claims to be Medicare related but is a scam

RECEIVED A CALL FROM 630-449-4407.... the man started talking before i could say anything - very loud - informed me that he was calling about "senior care" ... and said i have MEDICARE, right?  I told him no, that i do not , then he hung up ..... strange!!!

Got call from number today... no ID, just the number showing.  [***] on line asked for me by name (they've bought a call list from somewhere.  Then asked," you're on Medicare, right?"  When I challenged him with why he'd be cold-calling people and asking for personal information, he said he was with "Senior Health Services".  Told him he was a [***]-sucking scammer [***], and to [***]-off.

There is a "Senior Health Services LLC" in Kentucky [(502) 883-1015].  Don't know if that's who made this call, or if they are a victim of spoofing.

Called my landline. I answered armed and ready with a whistle.  An automated voice told me to wait for the next available agent.  Needless to say I hung up and added to the ever growing blocked list.

She said this is MEDACAIR ADVANTAGE something crap.. I asked if this is a prank call?? She said no repeated the name and then spelled my name and asked if someone was on medacair with that name?? I asked is this a scam and she hung up..
