This is a state collection agency for Delnor.  Trying to collect $25.00 from a bill for 2012!  Really??? This charge has never shown up on my husbands bill - I paid $5,000.00 to Delnor in 2012, 2013, 2014 and about $1300.00 in 2015, and this $25.00 charge just showed up on my husbands bill in 2015!!!  He passed away in April - REALLY DELNOR?  Cadence?  Northwest hospital!!!  My insurance company can't go back to the EOB's in 2012 so I don't know if I owe it or not - I explained this to the collector and she said "really? it's only $25.00 is it really worth it to you to go to collections for $25.00?"  I said...you've made 3 calls to me on this - is it worth the effort and time you're spending on it?  I'll keep explaining it to them I guess until they've spent about $500.00 trying to collect $25.00.  Ha Ha Ha!!!

Repeated calls on amounts I have no idea where they came from. REALLY?
I think they made the amount up and since it has already gone to collections delnor has written it off anyhow. They cant touch your credit report nor garnish wages so I say screw them!

Calls my house and cell up to 4 times a day, every single solitary day. Now it's just the principal of the matter. SO not answering, they can keep on calling & calling.

I keep getting calls from them MULTIPLE times a day to try to collect $100 from an ER visit to Delnor last November.  Interesting thing is, I paid my co-pay of $150 day of... my insurance policy states very clearly that it is only $150 out of pocket YET when I was at the ER, they kept trying to get me to pay $250 (even though my card CLEARLY states $150 co-pay). Anyway, the ER doc did NOTHING to help me. NO tests. barely an exam. sent me away saying I need to just take pain pills. (WHAT?!?)  and there were NO other charges that could have been added onto my bill. So I refuse to pay the extra $100 and I have tried explaining this to the woman who calls but she refuses to look into it.

So now I have to subject myself to at least 4 or 5 calls a day that I have to just ignore on my cell phone.
They have even tried calling my husband at his work -- don't even know how they could get his # since he is not even on my insurance!!!  What a crock. Delnor sucks.

Called mid morning. Call at different times of day. Usually no message. Voice mail received right after call. Woman said my first name and then hung up. Never heard of Del nor who they might represent.

Left no message i don't know what I would ever owe Delnor hospital as it is no where near my residence and we have never ever been there for any reason even as a visitor????
Will not answer      Getting really tired of these idiotic calls i like having a landline for the time being but how will they annoy me then

Del nor is a hospital in Geneva Illinois,  it has a bad reputation. For mistreating. Patients and billing mistakes

State Collection is a reputable collection agency (but there's always a few employees that have attitude).  I've both used them as the CFO for a medical business and I've also been the target of their collection calls.  Usually, the issue is not the agency but rather the erroneous invoicing and application of payments by Delnor (subsequently purchased by Cadence (subsequently purchased by Northwestern).  Cadence was buying up a lot of physician practices and was several month's behind in generating invoices to insurance and clients.  They also generally apply a payment to the oldest (or one of the older) invoices ignoring any instructions from the patient on how to apply the payment.  To make matters worse, the staff also take shortcuts to balance the books.  I had a couple of routine invoices that showed a gross charge of $75 before the insurance contractual discount.  Cadence actually showed a negative discount that increased the bill above the original $75!  Clearly incompetent.  And yes Delnor's invoicing and collection staff have a long way to go to becoming accurate.  Thankfully, the operational side of the hospital (the real "life and death" side of the business) is better.

Scammer alert! They didn't even know my name and asked me for credit card information and my social security number.  Clearly not legitimate.

They keep calling my place of employment harassing me for $25.00.  I don't know these people, nor have I even frequented their business.  I believe this is a scam and I am being harassed at work.  They have called my cell phone before as well but I blocked their calls.

A robot called & gave 5 options, but none were one to state they have a wrong #. No one here by the name they're asking for.

They were constantly calling me - usually I don't pick up calls from unknown numbers, but once I did as I was waiting for a call from my son's coach. The woman asked me right off the bat to confirm my name, birth date and address. When I asked back who is she and what is the reason of her call, she refused to answer. I never gave her any of my personal information and hung up. If we really own them any outstanding balance (we do see docs at Cadience group) then why not to send us a bill like EVERY time we need to pay any of our balance?!? SCAM!!!
