Left message saying this message is for "Jane Doe" if you aren't "Jane Doe" please hang up. By continuing to listen to this message you are confirming you are "Jane Doe". I only continued to listen to see who was calling - name in Google says Karen Diane Chambers. I haven't a clue who that is. Wish AT&T could come up with app to block phone numbers from calling us. Phone just shows call from that number - no name included.

Sounds like a debt collector using questionable tactics.  In the U.S., I do not believe a debt collector is allowed to call or talk about one's personal information in a phone call to anyone other than the debtor (or his attorney).  These people are trying to meet this requirement by relying upon you to hang up if I their recorded announcement is received by you and not the debtor.  I doubt whether that is (or should be) enough to satisfy the law.  What if an answering machine picks up the call, for example?

Same here, I have no clue who this party is affliated. I don't owe anyone, to my knowledge. My voice mail kicked in and the lady began her script, soon vmail cut her short.

Got a call.  Have no outstanding bills anywhere that I have knowledge of.    Weird

Said they were from Nationwide regarding someone who died 7 years ago.

They named my personal bank and said they were a representative and needed to talk to me about my account!

It is a debt collector.  I do have a balance on a huge medical bill with Gottlieb Hospital.  In trying to make a payment arrangement with Gottlieb at the time of the initial charge, they informed me that my payment was not enough because it would take me over two years to pay off the bill at that rate and that they wouldn't allow any payment plan that would extend past 2 years and told me I would HAVE TO pay them three times the amount I said I'd send them monthly, which I am financially unable to do.  I have religiously paid them monthly the amount I told them I would pay and after I made 12 monthly payments, they turned me over to this collection agency.  I am, and intend to continue, paying the same monthly payment until the bill is paid in full in about another year and a half.  This company is calling to tell me, for the second time, to send my payments to them and not the hospital because it takes them longer to get the money.  Pfffft.  Like I care?  It's already set up as an automatic deduction in my checking account and I'm not going through the work of changing billing payees.  They wouldn't work with me so why should I accommodate them.

Nationwide credit.  Calling cell # of person before me.  Rep was very rude and threatened to send a "collection team" to my job if I didn't pay off a $12 debt.  I work in a shipyard with a bunch of bikers so I doubt the collectors would make it out alive.

Called at 10:55, Illinois Call, no message, called yesterday and told me it was Credit Card offer. I forgot to block them yesterday. Blocking today

Received a call from this number, did not pick up, no message left.  Another number from another scammer, it seems like.  If you can help it, never answer a call from a number you don't recognize.  They do stop calling, eventually... but new numbers will pop up.

Called home 25 times.  Hung up when answered.

Called me when I have no outstanding debt. Hung up when I mentioned Identity fraud. Seems like they are scammers.
