Claimed to be a rep from my bank and knew enough details about it that it might be legit.  However, I live in PA and the call was from IL.  The caller was also on a horrible cell or VOIP line and I could not understand most of what was said.  I don't like discussing my finances from unsolicited callers.

Allegedly, a rep from my bank called to inquired about our line of credit and interest to increase such. I thanked him and shared that we would make an apt with the local bank as or if those needs occur.  The man suggested we call the number noted above as he  discouraged calls to local financial institution.

Called and stated he was from my bank and could lower my interest rate.  Asked if he could call me tomorrow as I was at work, and he stated he would.  Never got a call back.  Think it was someone trying to scam me.
