Caller ID says Jimmy Ottis with phone number 803-728-3440. Calls several times a day. Hangs up whether I answer or I let my machine pick it up.

I just got a call from this number and didn't answer it. I blocked my number (*67) and call them back. A woman's voice came on the phone & said "I'm sorry. We must've called you by mistake and will take you off our list immediately. Thank you for you time."  I wasn't sure if this was a recording or a live person so I called back. It was similar but slightly different. I called several times and each time it was just a little different. Finally, on my last call, she said "Thank you for calling customer service. Sorry, we must've called a wrong #"...how does she know when I NEVER SAID A WORD & MY NUMBER WAS BLOCKED?!? This screams *** SCAMMER ***!

I posted an earlier call I got from this #...I just got a call from 304-635-3277 which also shows the name "Jimmy Ottis"...SAME SCAMMERS USING ANOTHER NUMBER!!! All I know to do is to block the numbers as they come in. Wish there was something that could be done about these morons but I don't see that happening...

Yep, scammers. I actually got what SOUNDED like an American eventually (I called them back like 20 times in a row to screw with them) and she acted like she would take me off the list after I got rather nasty, insulting and un-Christian with her. We shall see if that worked. I am however slightly concerned that when I called back, they knew my name and  what car I drive.....

I get these calls periodically. I have started answering "Bureau of Investigations, Officer Reeves, how can I help you?" They hang up and don't call back. This is the first call I have had in quite a while since I have been answering that way.

Someone keeps calling 3 times now with the name OTTIS JIMMIE.. 802-222-0488 AT 10;27 am January 2, 2016

They call from all different area codes and number. Asked about a year and model of car I don't own. Told them I'm legally blind. Now they're calling from new area codes.
