I am guessing this is one of those political nonsense calls directed to me about about voting on Tuesday. Thankfully the call was automatically stopped after the first ring. The truth is that these calls do not effect how I vote. I only wish the DNCR applied to these calls. But life is not perfect and neither are laws.

No ID. No message. Filed FTC complaint

This number has called a few times but instead of the politicians name, it comes up as unknown name. That raises a red flag immediately. After the first call, I called it back and reached a voice mail with the name of the caller but did not leave a message, just blocked it using my call blocker device so other calls have been blocked and I just laugh. Now my phone does not even ring with blocked callers, they are cut off immediately.

Unfortunately, political, surveys and charities are exempt from the donotcall list. To me, do not call means just that, do not call. At least the legitimate telemarketers obey the donotcall regulations. The scammers don't.

Unfortunately political calls are allowed under the DNCR.
