Crime investigation officer named Mark Thomas saying that batch 100922 and then 112048 (his boss) is calling to say that they are going to arrest me. So, I should have my lawyer ready because of some tax fraud.

REAL law enforcement does NOT call. The show up unannounced.  Threatening arrest is also illegal.  IF you did owe the IRS, a letter would have been sent from them -- not a phone call..

Got the same exact message from Thomas. When I asked for his manager and told them I do not trust them, he hunge the phone. Left a mesage to the Genaeral attorny office about the number.

Got the same call from twice. It's a scam. They told me I owed taxes and tried to get me to go down to the CVS to pay on a greendot money pack! Funny stuff. I played along for while to waste his time. Then called him out. He called me an a**hole then hung up.

The IRS doesn't outsource to Indian call centers to collect on taxes. And you definitely don't pay taxes at CVS.

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
