An automated recorded message looking for donations for NY police.  When I asked what number he was calling from, he (the automated response) gave an Albany NY address.  A human would not have misunderstood my question.  I asked what his phone number was and he (the automated response) said "that's a good question.  I don't have a answer for that.  I'll connect you to my supervisor".  A few seconds later, I was disconnected.  I called back and it's a real number.  It connects to a call center I learned was in NJ.  I spoke to a live person who said their number is 866-784-9607.  I see there are already complaints on that number and one of those complaints gives another 914 number as the calling number.  Clearly, there is a significant amount of deceit here from the phony phone numbers appearing to be local when they're out of state to the recorded voice that can't answer simple questions.

Every other day this caller spams me, silence when the phone is picked up so I hang up. Says "Spam Easthampton, NY" Make it stop please!!! Unsafe caller. 631-731-6149
