    Irritated
The caller "Rich Hubbard" called and asked for my boss by full name and when I said I could take a message, he hung up on me. The phone number, when I tried to call back to make a complaint, is busy each time.

Got a call from a "Russ Davis".  My wife answered the phone.  He said that he was returning my call.  My wife was suspicious and asked for his contact information.  He acted angry and said he was just returning my call and would call again.

    Fed-up!!
This guy has been calling us relentlessly for the last year too.  When I asked to be removed from their list, as this was obviously a "sales call" (he always asks for my husband by 1st name), his reply..."this isn't a sales call, why don't you go kill yourself."  He then hung up on me.

Caller ID said "vision services". He asked for my husband, said he was returning his call and wanted his cell phone number.  When I declined to give it to him, he hung up.  Strong NJ/NY accent.

Same guy called us... very rude.  Wanted my husband's cell phone number.
Hung up on me...  I am curious where everyone lives who received these calls and whether you use a Time Warner Cable based phone line.  I am convinced that as soon as we opted in for the digital phone they gave our info to A LOT of telemarketers.  I live in North Carolina.

We are in Houston, TX and just moved with a new phone number.  Same as all the above --- very rude guy asked for my husband's listed name, which is not what he goes by --- then hung up when I asked if I could take a message.

He called me for the second time today.  He calls himself "Tom Doyle".  Every time he calls he asks for my husband and then asks for his cell phone.  When I tell him I can take his number and have my husband call him back he hangs up on me.  So today after he called, I called the # on caller ID.  It is a verizon phone #, he didn't answer, but since it was a cell # I just kept calling over and over (a little taste of his own medicine) on the 6th call he finally answered.  I told him that this was the second time he has done this and he either needs to leave his number with me or quit calling.  He played dumb and said that he didn't know what I was talking about and that it must have been a mix up with verizon.  Yeah right.  I just said I don't believe you, quit calling and hung up.  We will see if that worked.  But the # REALLY CAN recieve calls so maybe if he gets enough angry people calling he will quit.  Hope this helps.

Caller called talked with my wife and ask for me.  When she said I was not there but at work he asked for my work number and said he was with Mr. Dowell's office and was working with me on a case.  She said hang on so she could go get he work number as she did not know it.  When she returned he had hung up.

My wife got the call from a man who asked for me.  She said I wasn't in and he asked for my voicemail.  She told him that she was my voicemail because he had called the house.  He asked for my cell number and apparently told her we were supposed to meet or have a telephone conference.  She gave my cell phone number to him; however, he has not called my cell phone.  I tried calling the number on Caller ID and it, of course, is busy.

If they dare call back, we'll report them on the Do Not Call registry, and I'll follow up here.

Strong NY accent asked for my husband (he called at 8am) and then acted all surprised that he had "accidentally" called our home number and not his cell.  I refused to give him my husband's cell, not knowing who he was.

Why am I getting calls from solicitors if I'm on the " Do Not Call List"?

I just got the same phone call, asked for my husband then asked for his work #.  When I started questioning him, he said he works with so and so in the Houston office.  I gave him my husbands work # but he has not called him.  I live in TX, recently moved here.
