Caller Id indicated Assn Police.  No message left.  Pretty certain it's a scam.  Got a call yesterday from the Vol Fire Assn.  There is no Volunteer Fire Service in my Region.  Must be that time of year.

Scam do not fall for it

Called here, rang three times and hung up. SCAM!  Where I live police don't call private homes, if they need to talk to us, they come in person.  I never answer unknown numbers.  I figure if you do, they will know it is a live number and will call all the time or sell your number to other scammers.  If any of you scammers read these comments, you all need to get a real job, and if you work as hard at it as you do scamming you might get somewhere.

same 3 rings and hung up, (4 needed before my answering picks up). Same stupid "company".

Been getting calls from supposed police and fire charities for awhile now.  Caller ID on this one says "ASSN POLICE", they hung up on the answering machine. Are they real charities? Fake?  And if they are real, the intended recipients might get a tiny fraction of the proceeds? Who knows. I don't even answer the calls.

Received a call from this number. Didn't answer, no message.

Said he was calling for donation  to the sheriff fund of some sort...... Call my son - in - law < in law  enforcement >  Said  "there is no such thing "

Answered ‘cause I thought it was a friend...nearby and familiar area code.  The guy said, “Hello, this is Alan.  How are you?”  Then w/o me replying, he went into his spiel about wanting money for the various police agencies in the area.  I stopped him and told him the police nor fire don’t call and ask for donations.  I then called him a scammer and hung up.  Blocked.

They called but did not leave a message. From looking at this, I have reported this group before to the Missouri States Attorney.  They were suppose to take my name off the list.  I am going to report them again. This is a scam.  Its frustrating that these scammers are allowed to continue this crap.

Called around 9am, I answered (I have business contacts in that area code).  Live male in broken English kept asking if I could hear him and if I was there (the typical trying to get you to say 'yes' scam).  After several times answering his question directly without saying yes, he hung up.

Caller ID said Responders. I've had them call before, every year about this time.  They never seem to give up. I wasn't home to hear the phone ring, but even if I was, I wouldn't answer. Too many calls from numbers I don't know (unavailable) or numbers I do know and would't talk to for any reason.

I looked at my call log. I keep track of all the calls I get, 98% of them bogus. Earlier this month, a call came from 636-323-6813, caller ID said Senior Solutions, a caller that had been pestering me for some time. Numbers are pretty close. Same bunch, you suppose?

Called back. The call was answered and repeated, "Press 1 now to complete the call in English". No one ever picked up in English or any other language.

Got a voicemail from Jackie O'Brian Compliance Officer but she did not say why she was calling. Called back and went straight to voicemail and the users mailbox was full.  SCAM!!!
