Scam call: Non-human (computer voice) recording that said that I was under investigation for an act of tax fraud and a warrant for my arrest would be put out unless I called 646-???-???? (didn't write the number down, so do not remember all the digits). The recording said that I needed to call the commander and take care of the charge. Grammar in recording was incorrect and had some odd phrasing.

Indian scammer pretending to be IRS using voice synthesizer, claiming that there's some kind of case against me.  I'm just sorry there wasn't a real person on the other end that I could chew out.

I got the same call and then I dialed the number back and they said tax board or something like that and I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me then I called back again and I said why did you hang up on me and he said like this and hung up the phone on me they did it numerous times it's just a scam

Not a good idea to call the scammers back.  They get very abusive when they find their scams aren't working.

It just makes me upset i got a call from another place 2 days crier and when I called the number back on my caller ID the company told me they don't make calls out somebody stole their or hacked her out caller ID and that they had already made a police report regarding it but they said that they didn't make any calls it was somebody who hacked their caller ID I mean how do they do that I don't get it

called back after being threatened with jail and a 3,000 dollar fine, spoke with what they called an officer and she told me my name was taken off there list and the real reason for the call was about trumps ban on transgender in the military after going off on her she called me a f'n terroist and hung up

a prerecorded call saying that we are being sued and will end up in jail if we don't respond.  They identify themsleves as the IRS...Everyone should know the IRS doesn't call anyone.  All correspondence is done by mail.

harrassing multiple times

Call on my answering machine. Same as above, IRS - tax fraud case - sending police to arrest, etc. What a crock. Ever the robo call voice is about worn out and hard to understand the phone number.

I received a recorded call from this number saying it was a police officer telling me that there was some kind of legal action against me from the IRS. I called back and the person who answered said that I had reached the treasury department.

They just called...# didn't look familiar so I didn't answer call...they left recording reflecting all of the above comments!! Slugs !! Preying on people !! My I'D caller reflects the caller below.

8/4/17:  Robot caller left a message identifying themselves as the IRS and stating that I have been reported for tax fraud and to call back Officer Parker.  Since I have an accountant prepare my taxes, I was suspicious.  I did a reverse phone # look up and found this call came from New York.  Then I typed in the phone number and found this site recording the call as a scam!  Scum of the earth!!   (But thanks so much for this site!!)

Thank you for your post!!! I received the same call this morning & went directly online as I've been scammed before. The previous scam was by a police source wanting $$$ for a supposedly a no show for jury duty and a bench warrant being issued & I must pay the fine immediately.  Basically, the same thing but they had a live person answering the phone who was very nasty.

I just lost my mother and amidst grieving and stress I receive this idiotic robo-scam layering in further angst to the family who doesn't have the same media literacy/digital literacy skill sets...Livid that these predatory idiots are not being fully prosecuted and shut down forevermore.

Same thing as has been noted - I am going to jail - unless I call them back - okay - so let them take me to jail - I will get three meals, be able to exercise - and not have the day to day stress that I do right now - go for it idiots
