Beware of a scam by a person trying to purchase a vehicle from you. A caller by the name of paul sam wanted to buy a vehicle from me and wanted to send the money through paypal. His problem was he was at sea and his agent wanted the pickup fees up front. Since he didn't take a credit card on board he would need my help. The picup fees were $950.00 plus 60.00 FEE TO WESTERN UNION which is how the money would have to be paid. I contacted paypal and they alerted me to the scam. This caller was using a pinger # and it and his name can be changed at any time since it is a free download. Please people beware.

I received the the same scam to buy an item posted in Craigslist. The exact same story. Text message from (646) 535-9569.

"Paul Sam" also replied to our ad to sell our used vehicle. From the same phone number and with the EXACT same story. My instincts told me not to believe the info so I typed in his phone number here to check it out. Thank you Robert for providing so many details :)

this person is a BIG scam try to buy stuff of the craigslist using paypal with he never had .so plz people if u sell stuff on craigslist or any other ways.plz beware
