It was somebody from jail calling collect.

The guy is a freak, scam artist, lunatic.  All of the aboveHe should be arrested, I think he is near toronto but he may be spoofing the number.

My father-in-law got a call from this number.  The person on the other line said that his son (my husband) was locked up in a prison in Australia.  My father-in-law believed this because my husband is active duty Navy on deployment.  My father-in-law is an 82 year old man and was greatly disturbed by this call.  The caller said that my husband needed 2600 hundred dollars for bail, but could be bonded out for 800 dollars.  My husband is fine and no where near Australia.  Let's find this criminal and punish him to the fullest extent of the law.  This is truly deplorable.
