scratch above comment. This number is google voice not a collections agency. The number called me to get me signed up for GV. The collections people called a few moments later.

This number belong to Google voice, is a free online to make phone calls anywhere in the us for free. u can check google.com (Grand Central)
and that number is being use to set up an account.

YUP!  GV is really rockin and rollin, the call intercept, and selective phone block, even if it's shown as unknown, is really amazing.

I tried it with *67 from a POTS line (land-line), and was able to block THAT phone line, even though I let the caller ID thru afterwards, and another different phone line using *67 was able to hear the intercept message to give their name, even though it too used caller ID block, so it doesn't JUST block all UnKnown callers, it's actually able to selectively know what line # the BANNED caller is on, even thru a blocked, UnKnown, incoming call.

The wild part is the message they get when the blocked # calls again ... hahaha!

I'm NEVER giving out my private # again, except to my bank :) , but everyone else gets my GV # so I can BAN them if I don't like them anymore!

The number came up as a (909) number on my (909) cell phone, which is local for me, when I text it back from GV I got an error message saying it was not successfully delivered...that's when I noticed the number coming back as the (650) one. Strange, wonder why they called and disguised it as a local number?

after calling the simi valley number this number came up.

I think this is the phone no. that shows up on your "caller id", and
it is from "CLUB DEVO". They have an "ask Jerry" voice mail that
is every Thursday night. You leave your voice question, and then
he might post it on their web site the next Thursday.

This is a number from Google Voice.  I got a text from it the other day telling me my text message could not be delivered.

If you try to text to a short number from your Google Voice webpage you get the error message delivered from that number.  GV doesn't support the short numbers.
