They keep calling me on my new cell. How do they get my number so quickly? Anyone know who this is? i called and it said to please hold for something. I hung up, but it's kind of annoying. Not too many people I see. : P

This is RCN CABLE number at Twin-City MN, they used this number to harass customers who switch from RCN to COMCAST cable.
RCN will charge you $150:00 disconnection fees even if you do not enter into contracts with RCN.
SAY YOU HAD A PROMOTIONAL WHICH IS NOT A CONTRACT but as soon as you are satisfied with their services which is horrible e.g. all phone calls are diverted to the Phillipines or India to answer for customer services.

didn't recognize # so didn't answer.  but, well, i guess this is a legit RCN call (according to the above entries), because i owe them something.....  conv-box and money!  waaaah...!

They keep calling me even when I told that I am unable to pay right now.  They keep harassing me.

Called me yesterday 3 times, and just now & why?
I have no account with RCN, I have never had an account with RCN and I shan't ever have an account with RCN.
I called back and told them to take my # off their calling list - she went on about XYZ name, and I told her the only person registered to the # number they have called and hung up on several of times is;  mine and I have no business with them or RCN.

SO why did they call, because the owner of my apartment, switched from RCN, after RCN allowed  two elderly non english speaking customers to change their jailed in contract, which was actually made by his daughter not by him.

Upper thigh holes both IC services and especially RCN.
Thank you USA for allowing such underhanded business dealings - the ripping off of seniors and the harassment of innocent bystanders.

unwanted calls repeatedly from this number

I said hi several times and nothing. Heard a beeping noise in the background. I called them back and got fax noises.

Probably trying to reach a previous owner of your cell phone number.

I keep getting calls from this number, but no message is left. I've never been to MN, and never heard of this RCN company. Nor do I use ComCast. I have had this phone number for 7 years.

There are companies that I owe money to, but RCN is not one of them (I've never even heard of RCN).  Nonetheless, they called me today.  So, it's likely that this is just a bog-standard bill collector that represents many companies, not just RCN.

They are so annoying I don't know how they got my number i never even heard of them until I looked it up the keep calling and I just hang up. Sometimes I call back and hear this beeping noise but i don't say anything.

This number keeps calling my husband, so we decided to look it up. I answered once and the woman said it was a private business matter and that she needed to speak to my husband? I just hung up the phone because his business is my business and we don't know anyone from Minnesota, we've never heard of RCN either, and never had Comcast. Next time she calls, because she hasn't stopped, I will accuse her of being "the other woman" and maybe get a little laugh out of it. Love these 800notes, very informative -Thank you ;o)
