I have receive a call from this number every day for a week . . . I don't answer it so I don't know who it is.  they never leave a message.

The fact that they don't leave a message really makes me mad.  I do not answer my phone unless I know who it is.  Am I wrong in assuming that it is my right?

They called me, and the person on the line demanded that I give him my birth-date and address.  When I refused, he said that he could not continue with the call.

Phishing is not approved debt-collection behavior, is it?

I've been receiving these calls for weeks. I don't answer if I don't know who it is. How can we stop these calls? It's harassment.

My wife just got a call on her cell phone from this number. They tried to get her to say her real name by asking her if her last name was Schultz. Accidentally she gave her real last name. I would say to not let on anything to these yahoos.

They just call and hang up.  This is done daily.

If 651-204-1388 calls your cell phone, most cells have a "block number" feature. This should prevent the call from even reaching your cell display let alone make your cell ring. Some old land lines have the same option but probably charge a small monthly fee. I have many numbers in my block list. Also try the "do not call regestry" at:  "www.donotcall.gov" and add your number to the list of numbers telemarketers may not call. GL

from march 25th to april 12 i have recieved 10 missed calls from this number, i never answer it. They dont leave a message or anything as well. MYSTERIOUS, DONT ANSWER IT.

call a few times a week never leave a message stop harassing me.

Same as above.  I got a call yesterday and today.  I don't answer it and they don't leave messages.

they have been calling my home, business- cell with out leaving messages until yesterday. My buisness cell phone changed its forwarding protocol and there was a robot on the line saying " holding"..... " holding".....  then a man came on my answering machine and said Natalie _______. It freaked me out- I called the # back using Google voice so my # couldn't be traced.  
I found out its IC Systems- but I have no debts

i called it back and its a debt collection agency

I just talked to a person and I just told them my first name and the phone number. If they are a collection agency the DNC list wont help. They were given the number by the company they are trying to collect from. They told me that they listed my number as a bad number and would remove it from the system. So I will see what happens.

Telemarketers are finding loop holes to that law of the do not call list.  Also, if they are a debt collector the rule does not apply they can continue to try and contact you when trying to collect a debt.  But, the law doesn't say you have to answer the call either.

I RECEIVE CALLS DAILY, I NEVER ANSWERED TIL TODAY, BUT WHEN I DID THE LINE DISCONNECTED! SO I CALLED THE # BACK AND WAS FOR IC SYSTEMS,WANTED MY ADDR AND DOB , ADVISED THE LADY IM NOT PROVIDING THAT INFO, ASKED HER TO SEND ME A LETTER WITH THE INFO, SHE SAID SHE COULD NOT UNLESS I VERIFIED MY INFO. I TOLD HER I WILL NOT AND TO STOP CALLING MY CELL PHONE,SHE SD CALLS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL I VERIFY MY INFO, ADVISED HER IF I RECEIVE ANOTHER CALL ON MY CELL PHONE IT IS AGAINST THE FDCPA AND WILL FILE CHARGES FOR HARRASSMENT.. SHE FINALLY SAID SHE HAS ANOTHER # ON FILE, WILL SWITCH THEM AROUND?? BUT THEN ASKED ME FOR A BETTER # I CAN BE REACHED AT?? I TOLD HER NO THANKS AND I HU------ WILL SEE IF THAT WORKS!
