I get the same phone calls - shows up on caller id as Strategic Telec (as much as my phone is capable of displaying), and if I try to answer no one is there.  

You can call them back and request removal from their phone registry, and you can also do so through their website:

The name of the company is Strategic Fundraising, and as another poster said, they are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry (which I am also on).

Worked for me.  Called back, got alutomatic option to be removed. Now to wait 48 hours and see if it happens.

I didn't answer the call.  I'm thankful for all of the people who have commented.  We don't answer calls from "Out of Area".

first call from this number but like others I have gotten.  Calls I pick up and nothing is there - what kind of system could this possibly be?

Did not pick up because the number was not recognized.
