Calling and Hanging up with no conversation.

I received a call from this number and heard people talking in the background like a telemarketing place but they hungup.

Called my house tonight saying he was from the State Patrol Association looking for $12 donations.  Told him I wouldn't commit to anything over the phone and that is was a matter of both legitimacy and budget.  Once he convinced me to give him my address and promise to mail payment, I told him that I wasn't promising anything until I spoke with my wife about our budget.  He said "yeah, yeah, yeah, from one story to the next."  And hung up.

I have a feeling he wasn't from the State Patrol Association!!!  :)

Have been getting calls from several 651 #'s and don't know anyone at that exchange.  Very annoying.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  How can companies get away with this?!

I am on the do not call list, but keep getting telemarketing calls anyway.

Got a call from this number and they hung up!  Private Caller!

I recieved a call at 5:53 pm cst on my phone with the number 651-209-3356. They asked for my father who had just recently pass away. They said "Good" and hung up on me. I did my research, which lead me here. I called the Safty Services, and they did know about a phone call to my number. I told them what was said and that if i ever received another call phone any of thier offices, that i would report them to the police and FBI. They immediatlly said how sorry they were and said that "that person will be taken care of". The man that answered at Saftey Services was named Ray and talked with as deep voice and in normal tones (not fake like telemarketers)

They call every day around 12:00 - 1:00 pm, sometimes later... but EVERY DAY for the past few months.  I don't answer it but my son says he asnwered one and they hung up on him when he told them I wasn't here.

quit calling me  dont you get it i dont need safty equipment

just the same as all your storys. calls every week and 2-3 times in a day for 2 years at least trying to get me to donate to firefighters or police.

I have been receiving these calls and have seen them on caller id often - when I answer they just hang up.  I tried to call back, but no answer...

The guy who called was really loud and informal.  He pretended he knew the person he asked for.  He emphasized that he was fundraising for State Troopers and the problems of drugs, etc. but it didn't make any sense.  As soon as I indicated I wouldn't be willing to donate, he immediately stopped trying and hung up abruptly.  (There was no "Thank you for your time, blah, blah, blah..." as a real non-profit would do.) He didn't say he was mailing anything, so I'd imagine he wanted credit information over the phone.  It was pretty sketchy.

We have been getting 3-7 calls a day on our caller ID they call up to and even once after 9pm. 7 days a week. Used to show up Safety Services now shows up as Private. I agree that they are VERY rude. They either don't respond when you answer, they hang up, they ask for someone then hang up or when you say that person is not there they immediately state they will call back later (at 8:45 pm your going to call back later?) and hang up on you. They do not answer when you call back. If you ask any info they hang up. If you do get someone to not hangup, they make you feel as if you are 6" tall, they degrade you tell you your lying, or harass you to the point that you hang up. I think these people get off on us getting irritated. see what I found below on the Minnesota BBB. ONLY ONE COMPLAINT PEOPLE, COME ON LETS GET THE SHOW ON THE ROAD AND CLOSE THESE PEOPLE DOWN.

These guys are a legitimate company they do fundraising for various non-profit groups like the State Patrol, Faternal Order of Police, ect in Minnesota. If they are not there when you answer it's because there is a delay sometimes. They don't want to be rude but they only speak with the head of household or whatever name they have. They provide a vital service to law enforcement and other non-profits they are not telemarketers they are professional fundraisers and you might want to listen to some of the things they are raising money for because it is important
