Received a call, caller asked for Rebecca. I stated he had the wrong number. He said, I have the correct number, just wrong name. Asked me what my name was. I stated that if he didn't have my name, how did he know he had the correct person. Advised that if he didn't have my name, I wasn't going to provide it. He ended the call at that point.

fake fireman funding - imo... blocked.  All these kind of calls have made me so skeptical that I will not give to ANY.
End of story... a voice on the phone.  Too easy to be 'PHONEY' ~ Block 'em.

The person the caller asked for wasn't available, asked to leave a message, caller declined said he'd call back later. He also declined to say where he was calling from. Called the number back, received a recording which said "United Partners Outreach" they were "conducting a fundraising campaign in our area",  and to leave a message if you wanted a call back or to make a donation.

Answered the call and the person on the other end, a male, "stated sorry wrong number", I sat and waited for a disconnect frim him, didn't do anything so I waited a few more  minutes,  heard no background noise or anything, so  I then hung up.

this person is dumb. scam: plz go away

United Partners Outreach might want to hire a new buy, this guy called and asked for my CFO by first name only (said his name wrong) I corrected him and he sternly asked for my CFO using the incorrect name again, I corrected him again. Then I asked where he was calling from "United Partners Outreach", I asked what the call was regarding and he abruptly said "This isn't a business matter it's a civic matter". I put him on hold and my guy wasn't interested in speaking with him, I gave him the benefit of the doubt of a VM even though he was rude, but maybe that's just the kind of person he is. If he calls back again I won't put him through.
