who in the heck is this, you can not even call back and it comes through unavailable number, let alone it is an invalid area code?????? can you  say scammers?

number called me twice in one day, woman leaves a message in a sad tone saying theyve been trying to reach me and hangs up, no other context and no name.  even says my name like they know me.

Actually, neither you or anyone else can call that number back.  The 666 area code is not used and any attempt to call a number with a 666 area code will simply get a "number not in service" error message.
Apparently the would-be scammers that spoofed this number are not aware that this is a big red flag that gives them away even before the call is answered.
