I got a call from this number and all that showed up was the number.  The woman was quite rude... I hung up as it is obvious a bogus call.

Every Dept of Motor Vehicles sells vehicle registration lists as a source to generate revenue, so these jerks can buy your vehicle information to violate your peace and privacy.  Only recourse is to not engage in conversation, don't answer and/or block the number.

Just got a call from this number and no message was left.  Came up on Caller ID as follows:

your state is selling your information about your car to these companies. all from your registration.

This number called me and then they would not say anything.

I just call a call from this outfit and didn't answer. They didn't leave a message but the funny thing, the caller ID said ILLEGAL SCAM. HAHA

These people need to be stopped.  They are pests, will argue with you.  It is the old extended warranty scam.  Pay attention, People, don't fall for this scam.

I too got a call on my landline phone--my caller ID showed ILLEGAL SCAM. She said she was calling about my car -knew the make /model of it.  and mentioned extended warranty. I asked for her name- she gave her first name, then I asked for her last name, she said she WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE ME HER NAME  and I told her I WAS NOT GOING TO TALK TO HER ABOUT MY CAR  EITHER and I hung up. in the beginning I told her what my caller ID showed and she said "it shows that!" and there would be no discussion about my car!

You forgot to include car dealerships and car repair shops.

Caller ID said Vehicle Protection,  was bored at work so I figured I would pickup and have some fun because I don't own a car, was just a dead line nobody to talk to. :-(

At 1010 PDT received call from "Illegal Scam" at 667-401-3913.  Now my Win 7 PC is laggy.  I'm about to run one of Norton's repair tools.

this is the 4th try using 3 different phone numbers trying to sell me extended warranty on my wife's car that is titled in her name. I asked why call me it is not my car. Each time they hung up.

The call showed up as "Illegal Scam" on caller ID, but they left message saying extended warranty was about to run out on my car.  My wife died when she totaled the car 4 years ago. Wonder what kind of coverage they were going to offer.

receive call from this number and i didn't answer but did attempt to call it back and was informed this is a none working number after they just called very suspecious
