Imperium Management- representing an affidavit from Cashnet USA.  Said that I since I refuse to pay they will send to my county for an arrest warrant.

Got a recorded message only saying give them a call regarding a returned item from my bank.
Never said who they were. SCAM! Never wrote them a check to have it return.  So sick of people like this doing this kind of thing.  Don't you think your own bank would tell you if you bounced a check somewhere?

Go screw yourselves, scam artists!  I reported you to the FTC and States Atty in GA.

Also report them to John Sours, head of the Georgia Department of Consumer Affairs.

A woman calling herself Linda from Imperium Management saying my bank returned item for payment on loan from Cashnet. I never had a loan with Cashnet and never wrote a check to them. SCAM! Called the police and filed a complaint with FTC.

these people called and said I had a return check on my account. I called them back and said I had no account of that. Only to be ambushed by a screaming lady about a loan she said I had and had to pay back right then and there. When I ask her to tell me who she was with she never gave me a name of the company she just kept saying I was going to court. I have never heard of these folks before nor have I had a loan for the amount she claimed I had.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Send them a cease & desist letter via USPS certified - return receipt mail. I have provided the information for them below. Follow the steps in what you need to know also posted below.

I just reported them to the GA public affairs and consumer protection agency.  I am so SICK of [***] doing this to people!  They have 0 scruples, and they know they are teetering on the edge of being shut down completely.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
