Bill collector, called today, left a threatening message for someone whose name I don't recognize.

On my caller ID the name for this number came up as HOLLIS COBB PR. When i answered a large screeching sound, mabey a fax machine sounded and no one talked. After about 6 seconds of listening to this, i hung up. No idea who this is from.....

The caller is Patient Accounts Bureau a debt collector for medical bills.

This number appeared multiple times on caller I'd. Returned the call to the #. It was a medical debt collector. Advised them of my name & that they had the wrong # as well as the fact that I had no idea who the person they were trying to contact was. They then stated that "sometimes people give a friend's #" incinuating that I may be connected to the individual they were trying to contact. Stressed again that I was not familiar with their debtor.

I got a call from 6785806942 too and he said i want to a hospital for a treatment, did not pay the bill.
I immediately knew it was a scam and played along and asked what treatment did i take?
Caller:You know what treatment did i went through , but the bill was not settled
Me: You send me the statement and can you tell me the date?
Caller:Alright sir, you take care of yourself, we will send it to collections
I hung up the call after that

Got a call from this # while I was out, when I returned home and called it back I asked what type of business this was and some b%tch said a company and hung up on me.

This person has been calling 3 or 4 times a day from 2 different numbers saying they are a debt collector for a hospital bill but doesn't know the name of the person in which the bill is for I do believe it's a scam, when I call back and ask what it's in reference to they get their words jumbled and hang up.But still keep calling.I have a call log and will turn it over to AT&T for harassment.

Calls & hangs up on me every day.

Someone is calling at least 5 times a day when I return asking me for personal info without telling who they are!!! I don't think so.

Called me also...told them to go to he'll and if they called again I would contact a lawyer and Sue them

Rude and harrassing.  Never gave them a chance to explain what she wanted.

Several members of my family has had a run-in with this outfit, including my sister, who received nine back-to-back-to-back harassing calls between 7AM-8AM. She reported them to our state's consumer protection agency, who warned them they were in violation of state and federal laws and threatened to haul them into court and fine them $1,000 a day for each day the calls continued. The calls stopped.

I received a call from this number at noon today. I am fairly skilled at understanding different languages and dialects, but the lady who called had an accent that sounded like a four country hybrid. All that I understand was This is Miss, and collector and that was it. My wife couldn't make anything out.

These people have called repeatedly in the past about either non-existent medical bills or bills that had been paid long ago. They call constantly so today I warned them that what they were doing was fraudulent and they could be sued and/or serve jail time. The individuals who do the calling don't know anything and I believe they don't know what they are doing is unlawful.
