    Annoyed!!!
I got an unexpected, unwanted call from an unrecognized, long distance number.  No message was left.  As usual, I did not answer, and I looked the number up here.  (800Notes is my go-to.)  Just making a note here.  I may be back.  This may have been a 'fat-fingered' dial.  This may be a Scamarketer just starting up, and I'm the first to call them out.  (Maybe even a 'spoof'.  ***sigh***  Scamarketers are very sneaky.)  I may be adding this number to my "Telemarketer" contact, which has a silent ringtone and is blocked. (So I wouldn't be bothered by this number again, except to delete "Telemarketer - Scammer" from my "Recents" list.)  In my book, an Unexpected, Unwanted Call from an Unrecognized Long Distance Number plus No Message = Scamarketer.  (No message, I think, is the key - The give away.  Not even a, "Sorry, wrong number.")

I have AT&T Call Protect and it blocked 4 calls from this number, all received in the span of 20 seconds or so. The alert said Fraud Risk. If AT&T is your wireless provider, this is a helpful app - it flags calls from suspected telemarketers, which is helpful; this is the first time, though, that it's flat out blocked calls, so my guess is they're certain I don't want to take calls from this number. The note on the report said the threat level was severe and indicated 91 reports. Rat [***]!

Received a voicemail from this number transcribed by google voice as follows (I have not actually listened to this):
"Hey, this is Jimmy. I'm just giving you a call back to follow up. You had made an online inquiry about getting some additional protection on your vehicle, and I had been able to get a hold of you as far as soon just leaving you a message to let you know that you are based on the information that we have. Looks like you do still qualify to get that additional coverage. So if you could just give me a call back at your earliest convenience. I could be reached at 701-415-2267. Again, this is Jimmy 407-141-5267. Just trying to get back with you about the inquiry you made for some additional protection on your vehicle. Give me a call back at your earliest convenience. Thanks a lot, and have a great day."

I've literally never inquired into additional protection for my car.  This seems like a new way to try to trick people into buying unnecessary car warranties/service contracts, which I would never ever look into since they're a scam and waste of money.

Jimmy's been calling me, too, claiming I had reached out to him, online, for an extended warranty. He called after 9 p.m., tonight, and left this absurd message. I added him as a scammer, and blocked the number.

Left message. "Jimmy" says I made an online enquiry about additional warranty on my car. I did not!  I've blocked the number.

Strange thing is my phone never rang.  Just a voice message from Jimmy at this number about my car's warranty.  My car is a lease so these scammers are obviously not in the know.

    Hate spam calls
Spam call about vehicle warranty expiring when I asked for their corporate address the guy told me “why do you want to buy the building?” It made me laugh when I told him I could afford to but obviously he couldn’t if he’s making a living with spam calling. I got hung up on and hopefully never get a call again

Same as above, Jimmy contacting me about car warranty that I had never inquired about. Same message was left as noted above. I was holding the phone and saw the number pop up then it was gone. I looked at the phone record and saw the missed call and voice mail.

Called them back a few times, put it on mute and let them talk to themselves. If I wasn’t as work I’d have more fun

I received a call today that I didn’t answer. The last time I answered I got the guy all excited when I mentioned I have 5 cars. He promptly hung up when I told him the newest one is 27 years old (truth). Going to block them now.

There is a special number you can find on the internet. Callers dial it first, then wait for a double beep and a dialtone. Then they dial your number and your phone never rings. The call is sent directly to your voicemail. I used it for years when I worked for a cell phone company and had to call customers to sell features

A male named Jimmy called my phone and left a message on my voicemail that he was returning my call regarding a car warranty service that I inquired about on line. I NEVER INQIRED. NOT INTERESTED. He left a phone number in the message to call Jimmy back at 701-415-2267. I called this number to demand he remove my name and phone number from his calling list. ITS A LIE!!  I did not request any type of service from him! STOP CALLING AND STOP LEAVING MESSAGES. THIS IS A SCAM. A recording came on and offered a $300 discount if you bought the service today. Discount only available today. He must have had me on mute and had been listening to what I said because my call was disconnected. Good!! YOUR NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCKED!!!
