I pressed 1 and it was a thing to supposedly reduce your interest if you have over 4k in debt. I got a voicemail for "Barbara" promising to call me back in 15 minutes. I told it to take me off the list and please don't call me back.
This isnt the 1st (701) call I have gotten. Please people, don't fall for these calls!

My caller ID read "IMPORTANT"!  Love it, too funny.  Since I decided not to answer the "IMPORTANT" phone call my answering machine picked up and I got a recording the same as CAG described about reducing credit interest rate if you have over $4,000 in debt.  There was also an option to press 3 to get taken off their special calling list.  Riiight ...  This place shouldn't have been calling me in the first place - I'm on "DO NOT CALL" list.

Got this call, too. Stored their phone number on my call block list. Why do these idiots bother to call people who carry no balances? Guess that's the joy of robo calls--a machine doesn't worry about wasting it's time. A sales person might want better targeted lists.

caller ID says "IMPORTANT".   No message was left for me.   After reading the above posts, I opted NOT to call them.  I don't have any credit cards and and don't have any outstanding balances on any credit cards.    The "Do Not Call" registry is worthless anymore.

This call (from a caller named "IMPORTANT")  about reducing my credit card interest rate was unrelated to my current credit cards. I pressed "1" and informed the person on the other end of the line that the call was totally unsolicited and illegal and that they should remove my number from their list.  (Like they really will do that?)  So much for the effectiveness of the "Do Not Call List"!

Caller ID said 'IMPORTANT', which meant to me that it wasn't. Now that I see the posts here it's confirmed.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list. So, do not call!!!

"Important" reduce your credit card bills...

Just had one of their canned messages.   I interupted the message and punched in a bunch of numbers and they hung up on me.  I am on the  do not call list and I have NO credit card debts.....

Same as everyone else. Hmmmm. I am also debt free. Also on the do not call list. YAY for stupid companies.

So after I got the bogus "this is your final notice" message from 701-509-8549, not 10 minutes later I got a recorded message from "Rebecca" at 369-000-3394 about my credit card account. Enough!!!!

Same "IMPORTANT" on ID. They didn't leave a message. I have call block on my handset but am running out of entry room because of this kind of junk.

Lucky I was not at home when "IMPORTANT' called. What's going on????

received a call on 10/22 at 3:00PM EDT, the caller ID said North Dakota. I declined to answer as I don't know anyone in North Dakota, glad that I didn't answer, no message was left on my voicemail.

Same as danno- caller ID says "North Dakota" but my call was received at 2:48 p.m. EDT. My next door neighbor got the same call shortly before mine, too. My neighbor didn't answer hers, figured it was "junk". I wasn't home when my call came in, and it wouldn't have mattered if I was-still wouldn't have answered. I *love* caller ID!

They called at 7:43 PM (Thursday night), 10/21/10.  Left no message.
