received several calls

Recieved several calls from this number. Never answered it since recently my number was stolen from verizon & have had a lot of these random numbers. I looked it up on here & got a call a few minutes ago & decided to answer. It's a education scam they say that you recieve money or grants for school. I told them that I looked it up online and that i knew it was a scam they just kept talking. I finally raised my voice and told them it was a scam and they needed to stop calling my phone and told me I was very smart and they would not bother me anymore.

They called 3 times, I didn't answer the first two times because I didn't recognize the number and wanted to see if they would leave a voicemail......but they didn't.  I answered the 3rd call and no one said anything.

I called back and got a recording that said if I did not want anymore calls regarding their special promotions to press "1", I did.  They also said that it may take up to 72 hours for the request to be processed.

Keep receiving calls from this number and I want this to stop.
We are on the do not call list.  Please make them stop.

I am calling THE NO CALL REGISTRY every time they call ..... some where down line it is going to start costing them $500 a call.

I keep getting phone calls form this number about two to three times a day. I wish they would stop

I get calls from this number about 2 or 3 times a day, they left a voice mail, that was muffled, and I can hear a man the back ground say something, then the phone hung up. This time the call came in a night.  It's probably a scam and don't answer, dismiss the call or block it.

Called me 13 times on January 20, 2011.  I did not answer.

they call every day at least 4 times how do we get them  to stop

Got a call, didn't recognize number so didn't answer.  They left no message.  Called back and got a recording that my call could not be completed even though I could make calls to other number successfully.

At least one and sometimes two calls a day. Irritating to say the least.  Thanks to the responder who had a conversation with them discovering the educational grant scam.  FCC should shut them down.

Got 7 calls in a row. Sent a message to stop this stupidity!

this number keeps calling my house and hanging up , it's getting annoying i want it to stop !

This number, as identified by caller ID, calls several times throughout the day.  When you pick up the phone no one speaks and then they hang up.

PLEASE eradicate this number, and the individual(s), from society.

If you returned the call, it used to lead to "all circuits are busy, please try again later" and an automatic disconnect.

HOWEVER AS OF FEB 2 2011, THE MESSAGE WAS UPDATED TO INCLUDE AN OPTION TO PRESS '9' AND BE PLACED ON THEIR DO-NOT-CALL-LIST.

Might be worth a try returning the call to get removed.  I did not receive an AM call as I usually have by this time.  Appears to have worked.

Update:  They called again.  Reporting to DNC.gov.  Ugh.
