Called by a service saying I was selected for a free vacation claiming to have hand picked me from many applicants.  Then asked if i was over 21.  When I politely said I wasn't interested, I was told to "[***] off then [***]".  I then hung up.

I recieved a message on my answering machine from this number and when I listened to the message, the lady said, "Do you smell that?  Smells like s#!*."  I could hear a man responding to her, and she just kept repeating that phrase.  How vulgar and gross!  I called the number back to see if I could get any company or caller information.  All I got was a recorded message that said, "Thank you for calling back.  If you would like to be placed on our do not call list, press 1.  It may take up to 72 hours for your number to be removed from our list."  I pressed 1 and then the recording went dead.  No company info. or anything was given, and there was no option to talk to a live person.

They called... no one there!!

Called by a service informing me that I was selected for a vacation.  I stated no thank you and I was not interested.  The person insisted he only needed a moment of my time. I was asked if I was over the of 21 and did I like to travvel.  I was then asked if I had paper and pencil. The caller stated his name was "Rion" from 4 Star Travel.  I politely answered his question and I advised that I had a time share and again stated to him that I was not intersted.  I also told him I had been called by this company before.  He stated he knew I had a time share and I hung up.

I received a call from this number. When answered the line was dead.

Also received a call from this number-answered "hello", again "hello". No one
responded.

told me I received a discounted offer for a vacation from four star travel. I said I was not interested and he asked if I was over 21. I asked if I could be removed off of their calling list and he hung up immediately. Jerks.

I do not want this company calling my house. They are unprofessional and rude.

Received call from this number twice today.  I do not answer calls from phone numbers I do not recognize.

I received a missed call from this number. I got another call from the same number within the hour, which I believe was a misdial, as I got a voicemail in which a man and a woman were speaking to each other. I could not understand what they were saying, but I believe I heard them burp loudly before the call ended. Smacks of a scam if you ask me.

This phone number comes up on my cell phone several times a week.  When I answer there is no one on the other line.  I can see by the other posts...this is some sort of marketing or other scam.  Others be careful.  They never leave a message.

Received call, answered, and after about 6-8 seconds of dead air, I heard someone having a side conversation until I said "Hello?" again.  The same initial questions/comments were mentioned as before, but after I told him the 2nd or 3rd time that I was at work, and that I wasn't interested, he gave a prominent sigh, and then said "have a good day, sir."  

I hate getting calls like this.  Ugh!

I've been receiving calls from this number for a little over a month now.  They never leave a voice message.  I've set my phone to auto reject the calls so it doesn't bother me, but interestingly enough, I received a call from them today (2/18/11) and there was a voice message that was cut off.  The caller said, "this is a collect call...", then the message stopped.  I have no clue if this is a scam, a debt collector or what, but it's time to investigate further...

Another update... a search on intellus indicates this number is cellular and is registered to Nextel, although I'm not sure how accurate the search results are.  I would encourage people to report this number to the National Do Not Call registry (just google it) and file a complaint as I have.  The more people that file a complaint, the better the chance that this scam can be stopped.  Note that if your number is not registered with the Do Not Call registry, you'll need to register first, then submitt a complaint.

Just received a call.  No one there.  Silence.

Answered the phone and no one was there.

have received calls every 3rd day from this number 701-920-9675; they won't provide company name, and when asked how they obtained my number (which has an out-of-state area code), I was told that I "must have participated in one of their timeshares," which of course I hadn't.  I told the person that I wasn't interested, and to please stop calling (have done so twice thus far, and they just called again today).  found this listing and now I see that I'm not alone.  am filing complaint with national do-not-call registry, suggest everyone else do the same.

Have received at least two calls per day, never anyone there when I answer.  These are on my cellphone using valuable minutes during peak time.

I got a call from this number. The woman said she was calling from Florida and I had been selected to receive a free vacation. At this point I interrupted to tell her that I'm on the DO NOT CALL Registry and she was breaking Federal law by calling me. She apologized and said that they use pre-screened calling lists but that sometimes "a number slips through." I hung up.

I had been selected to receive a discounted vacation.  Who would be traveling with me?  Was I married?  I told her I was on the do not call list.  The Federal List, she asked?  Yes, then she hung up.
