this number called my cell phone, but did not leave message - i blocked the number immediately.  What good is the do not call list if you continue to get this type of call

Has called me a couple of times over the past few weeks, but doesn't leave voicemail. Blocked the caller.

This number was used to call and target elderly people who could not hear and not understand what was going on.
I called this number back  with my business phone and it responded that it was a telemarketing company organization that if i wanted to be put on a do not call list to press a different number.. But what is the name of the organization that it called for  is never disclosed. the line just drops and that is the end of the call..
Now since I called this number on my business phone line this number is calling my number and doing the same thing it did to the elderly people... They should have someone to control this scenario,,...

Got this call.  Did not pick up.  Know now not to pick up phone calls I don't recognize.

This call came to my cell (despite its registry on the DONOTCALL list). Said she was contacting ComEd customers about energy dereg and opportunity to lower those bills. Block the number and don't waste your time. These operations are typically multilevel marketing schemes.

It shows up as "POWER BILL" on my Caller ID.  They have called twice today and, while not leaving a message, stay on the line to make my answering machine record silence then hang up.

it seems like a telemarketing firm trying to get ComEd customers back---came up as Powers,Bill on my caller i d too.

Hmm. 1st I get Los Angeles & this Afternoon (2/3/12) I get ANOTHER Hang up from Cell Phone NV. I don't know anyone from NV. We're on a DNC & unlisted & these idiots still sneak in.

Filed a complaint with the authorities.  We are on the do not call list.

Robocall about electric company deregulation, but on whose behalf?  Sounds like illegal telemarketing to me, and so it shall be reported to www.donotcall.gov.

This person keeps calling me from various numbers (this being one of them). I never pick up, yet they never leave a message.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc. - they have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.
