Craigslist scams are all over the place.  I put the following at the end of my ads.  Saves me a lot of hassle:

"Local inquiries only. All transactions conducted by CASH and IN-PERSON.  No checks.  No credit.  No online payments or wire transfers.  NO EXCEPTIONS!"

Oh, and with those in-person cash transactions, I always make sure they're conducted during the day in a well-lit public place with lots of witnesses!

Have ad on craigslist and they are also using 702 276 1854 Tried scamming me today. I was born at night but it wasn't last night.

Yep, I own a salon and get texts from scammers from time to time. Got one from this one this morning. Now asking if they can use credit cards! Watch out!! They will ask you to send an invoice but will want you to transfer some of the money to a "driver". I got my hopes up last time until they asked for a transfer. I never sent an invoice because I wasn't going to put my business in jeopardy. This mornings message: "Hello, I am Jaden Marvel, i will like to know if you are available for doing hair and do you accept credit cards?...i await your response."

So he yet again has a new name.
