- Rita PayneI got a call from this number (foreign female voice) saying that she Microsoft and that my computer needed to be updated. I asked her what computer would that be and she said the one you use most often. I told her I use my tablet and it doesn't have Microsoft on it. I told to stop calling my number (this was 3rd time in 2 days). First two times I was busy so I called it back and got busy signal each time. I also if I received another call from this number I would report them. They just want access to your computer so they can your information on it. Report them.

- Savvy TX Computer UserPURE SCAM!!! Woman with Asian or Indian accent trying to get me to perform the actions on my computer...starts with Windows Key + R....and would have proceeded to have me go to a website and then install an application that would have given them remote access to my computer. Clearly re-routing call through a Las Vegas, NV number. Example is here - https://pcrescue.wordpress.com/2010/06/12/lat ... ake-over-my-pc/
- LinSCAM.. wont even answer a number I do not recognize.
- DannyI just got a call from a lady with Indian accent, who said that she's with Microsoft. She said that my computer has been sending stuffs that jeopardize my computer's security, and she has called to assist me. I told her that I use two laptops when at home, and asked her which computer they trace a problem from. She could not answer, and she told me to turn it. on. I said they are both on right now. I asked her what is the operating system of the computer that has problems, she said "Windows" and i said that one has Windows and the othere on Windows 10. She instructed me to press the Windows key and the "r" which I did, and then she instructed me to type a letter when the command prompt appeared. I told her that she is doing a SCAM on me and I was hesitant to continue following her instructions as I suspect that she's trying to get into my computer. I dropped the call, and searched for the number she used, which is 702-605-0066.
- Caller: Microsoft? (claimed)
- Cap024I love when they call. Same as everyone else, they say they are from microsoft and that my computer is sending them messages. Instead of hanging up or telling them I have 5 computers on, I usually go along with them. When they tell me to turn on my computer, I tell them I can't do that because the man who lives in my computer will scare me. He's the one sending them the messages and I don't know how to stop him. They usually hang up after that, but its entertaining to see how far I can take it with them.
